employment

It is still recession time and while most people are losing their jobs, other workers are finding themselves stuck at their old jobs with annoying managers and manipulative bosses.

The business environment is not good. Approximately 14.5 million workers are unemployed and in this situation, currently employed workers feel themselves trapped at their jobs as they do not have the option of finding a new one.

“They want to leave their jobs because they can’t stand somebody in the office or the politics of the company or they’re overworked or underworked or they don’t like the culture of the company,” said Kathi Elster, co-author of “Working for You Isn’t Working for Me”.

The work atmosphere has become so tense because of the recession. The employees are forced to work more for the same income and bosses are being pressurized from above.

According to a recently conducted survey, many workers are convinced that they would like to switch their jobs once the economy is back on track.
